Greetings from East Hampton!

What a storm this weekend!  

An "end of winter" storm!!!

Today I walked down to Main Beach to make sure it wasn't blown away.

The beach is still there but all the people seem to have blown away!

Hardly any footprints in the sand...

and even the surfers stayed home...

Thundering waves - and gusts of wind that sounded like a freight train!

But we were lucky - no big trees down, no major damage...

But the ocean certainly proves it holds the power!!!

At Maidstone Beach the wind is blowing...

but there is evidence of optimism...

Spring will be here soon!!!

And we will walk into spring together...

You and me and the wind and the waves!
