Greetings from East Hampton
on one of those rare treasured perfect summer days
when the sky is blue the sun is shining the clouds are white
and the world is a fine place to be!

I decided to do a photo blog on the farm stands this afternoon,
but first I had to stop at The Clam Bar
for clams on the half shell, local corn, local wine and tuna bits...

LKL - my favorite local farm stand...

local veggies, local peaches...

and ooooh those North Fork Potato Chips!

In Amagansett on the highway, a little front yard stand..

Eli Zabar is now running the Amagansett Farmer's Market for the Peconic Land Trust.
Not the most local but good stuff...

Local cheese...

Pizza looks good...

Red meat...

Now the cherries are looking really nice...

and those are some awesome blackberries!

Up on Town Lane, a stand with ONLY their own produce...

and a good dog...

and beautiful views...

cook with these like garlic
or make a bouquet...

And the season has only just begun!
