Sylvia Walks & Calendar Highlights

Greetings from East Hampton NY.
I hope your 4th of July Weekend was as splendid as ours!

Finally the sun came out. The air is clear and it feels like Summer!

The windows and the people were dressed in Red White & Blue.

Historic Homes reopened to the public.

Saturday evening we picked up a picnic from Fishbar in the Gone Fishing Marina.
Congratulations to Jen for her fabulous write-up in Edible East End - our favorite local magazine.

We went our on Lee's boat: The T-Bone. What a perfect night on the water!

Even the reflections were Red White and Blue!

Montauk's fishing fleet looking fine in the evening glow...

the Coast Guard always gets the best real estate...

fishing from the end of the jetty...

clouds always make the sunset...

so much drama in the sky!

and a nearly full moon making magic...

casting moonbeams into the dark sea...

and darkness fell...

just in time for fireworks!

and more fireworks!
From the boat we could see them in all directions.

Thanks for joining me at sea
on this magical night.
